As the title suggests, I couldn't wait to write this review. As a matter of fact, I'm not even finished with the book...but I'm close. Only a few more pages and I'll be finished. And I can promise you one thing...I'll be keeping this book close by for years to come!
It's everything that I had hoped for. Basic, easy to follow, common sense tips on how to market books in the digital and virtual age. Ms. Vandermeulen's clear, concise approach makes the almost mystical haze of online marketing easy to grasp for the most neophyte of Internet users. And just to be sure, she includes a very good glossary in the back of the book to help you understand strange, almost ethereal concepts such as "tags" and "blogs".
My own novel, Primal Thirst, has been on the market for more than a year. It's been successful to some degree, no thanks to my bungling attempts at marketing. I wish I'd had this book a year ago. Thankfully, I'll be re-releasing the book through my new small press publishing company and will be using the principles set forth in Premium Promotional Tips for Writers every step of the way! For all the books we publish! I can't stress to you enough...if you're a writer and you have a book published or about to have one published (as she says, if you wait to get it published, it might be too late!), you owe it to yourself to get this book and "conquer all obstacles"! —James Holloway, Author
